It’s Time for Courage!
German Pastor Dietrich Bonhoeffer,
who courageously spoke out against Adolf Hitler’s extermination of the Jews, said,
“Silence in the face of evil is itself evil;
God will not hold us guiltless.
Not to speak is to speak.
Not to act is to act.”
The author of The Cost of Discipleship was arrested by the Gestapo in April of 1943 for his resistance to the Nazi dictator, imprisoned, and ultimately hung on April 9, 1945.
